Financial Control & Management
Develop finance, compliance, contract management, HR, and accounting procedures to maximize company’s efficiency, management, and profitability. Responsible for company’s accounting operations, including production of periodic financials reports, maintenance of adequate system of accounting records, and comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of company’s reports financial results and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Full charge bookkeeping including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank and credit cards reconciliations, Payroll, track HR benefits, maintain chart of accounts, and maintain system of control over accounting transactions
- Manage cash flow and create financial planning platforms
- Analyze company financial strengths and weaknesses and propose correction actions
- Create annual budget and cash forecast, and implement on monthly basis
- Create and re-structure Chart of Accounts to improve financial control and decision-making capabilities
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Tax planning
- Development of company accounting structure and procedures manuals
- Ensure financial reports are accurate and completed in timely manner
- Liaison with bankers, attorneys, vendors, CPA, insurance agents, etc.
- Assistance in obtaining financing from banks, including assistance with negotiations
- Audits preparation and compliance
